Alan Stafford - Useless Person

Alan was born and raised in the picturesque landscapes of Co. Kildare, Ireland. He has always been a man of passion and determination even though life presented its share of challenges, including a late-in-life diagnosis of ADHD and autism. This in turn was the catalyst to turn these obstacles into opportunities of growth and self-discovery.

Alan spent much of his career in the veterinary industry, a field that resonated deeply with his love for animals and his meticulous attention to detail. However, as time went on, his creative spirit sought new outlets. Together with his gorgeous and endlessly supportive partner Pam, Alan embarked on a bold new chapter, opening Square in 2017, a coffee shop that has become a cherished gathering place in their community.

Family is at the heart of Alan’s journey. Having been raised by a loving mother and endlessly working father in the 80' & 90's. 25 years on, with two amazing children of his own nearing adulthood & in full time education, he takes endless pride in their accomplishments and the joy they bring to his life.

Now, Alan is setting his sights on an exciting new venture: sharing his art with the world. Channeling a lifetime of unique experiences and perspectives, his work is a vivid testament to his resilience, creativity, and boundless spirit. Whether through his art, the coffee shops, or his dedication to his loved ones, Alan continues to inspire those around him to embrace life’s challenges with courage and heart.
